Designed to interface directly with the Production Access Drilling Module, the Remote Field Module is a laptop-based version of the office-based Drilling Module system. The remote field module is designed so that each field drilling engineer receives e-mails on only the wells he is responsible for in the field.

When paper work is finished for any well or group of wells to be drilled in the office, that information will be e-mailed directly to the responsible drilling engineer in the field for execution. Each day after drilling information and associated costs are captured in the remote field module, that information will be sent directly to the office and automatically uploaded into the main Production Access database for the use in the office.
